Skybus Airlines to launch into history with inaugral flight to St Augustine.

Next generation of low-fare airlines will serve Jacksonville/Daytona Beach area
with fares that costs less than a tank of gas. Skybus Airlines’ first flight from Columbus, OH to St. Augustine Airport is scheduled to land at 2:44 p.m. (EDT) Wednesday (7/18). Airport officials will hold a brief ribbon-cutting ceremony in front of the TSA checkpoint at approximately 1:30 p.m. The incoming flight will be greeted with a traditional water cannon salute. Denis Carvil, Skybus vice president of ground operations, will be in St. Augustine for the inaugural flight, and can be made available to local media at the airport prior to the flight’s arrival. However, we are also happy to arrange phone interviews prior to or after the inaugural flight. Wednesday, July 18, 2007 is the Ribbon-cutting ceremony at TSA checkpoint in terminal lobby at 1:30 p.m. Flight 95 scheduled to land at St. Augustine at 2:44 p.m. (EDT).
