ST. AUGUSTINE ART ASSOCIATION TACTILE ART SHOW
Attend the opening of this new show spotlighting more than 60 artists whose works appeal to the senses of touch, sound and smell. Art exhibits on display include woven wall hangings, pottery, bas relief sculptures, aromatic bouquets and more. The exhibit coincides with Art Beyond Sight Awareness Month and each exhibit is accompanied with a Braille plaque card. The exhibit is at the St. Augustine Art Association Building, .located at 22 Marine Street in St. Augustine. The exhibit, which is free to the public, will be available for viewing Tuesday through Saturday noon to 4 p.m. and from 2 to 5 p.m. on Sundays until October 27. IMAX THEATER - Sea Monsters Be among the first to see Sea Monsters, a new film from National Geographic Films, that weaves together a series of paleontological digs from around the globe in a compelling story about scientists working as detectives to answer questions about the ancient and mysterious ocean world. GTM RESEARCH RESERVE BROWN BAG LUNCH LECTURE
Learn about the natural history of South Africa when Research Ranger Linda Harrison presents “South Africa: A Natural History Adventure”, a photographic accounting of her recent visit to South Africa. DARK OF THE MOON TOUR
Venture into the Keepers' House and Tower at night, learn about the history of the St. Augustine Light Station, listen to paranormal tales and experience darkness inside the St. Augustine Lighthouse. SPANISH HERITAGE CELEBRATION AT CASTILLO DE SAN MARCOS
Celebrate and learn about the 442 years of Spanish heritage in St. Augustine. The Castillo de San Marcos, in honor of Spanish Heritage Month, will present a historic time-line of the city’s Spanish influences from the 16th through the 20th centuries, everything from the age of the conquistadors to World War II. EMMA CONCERT SERIES - THE CZECH PHILHARMONIC CHAMBER ORCHESTRA

HISTORIC WEAPONS FIRING DEMONSTRATION
Take the National Park Service’s ferry to Rattlesnake Island and experience daily military life at Fort Matanzas – the 18th century Spanish fort that guarded the southern approach to colonial St. Augustine. From 10:30 a.m. until 3:30 p.m., authentically clad re-enactors will demonstrate Spanish muskets and cannons at the fort. Admission is free. BIRD MIGRATION PROGRAM AT WASHINGTON OAKS GARDENS
Learn how to identify fall migrating birds, their habitat and behavior when rangers at Washington Oaks Gardens State Park present this fascinating program. A limited number of binoculars will be provided, but participants are encouraged to bring their own along with drinking water and field guides. The walk will be departing from the Visitors Center at 8:30 a.m. The program will be included in the regular park entrance fee of $4 per vehicle, up to eight people. 6TH ANNUAL CHARITY OKTOBERFEST
Rev up your fall at the Annual Charity Oktoberfest at the World Golf Village.
