Italy

Italy is one of the oldest countries in the world. It is steeped in history both old world and religious. Italy is home to many of the world best designers, wineries, artists, and chefs. The cuisine of Italy cannot be compared to anywhere else in the world.


Italy is considered to be the sacred land. More Roman Catholics than anyone else visit it. From the earliest ancient times, when Caesar ruled and the coliseum was used to punish and kill Christians. Italy was the most feared country in the world.

Today, Italy is a well-developed and evolved country with much to offer the world. Vacationing in Italy is a dream for many Americans who have Roman Catholic roots.

Rome is perhaps the most visited city in Italy. It is consider the holy city because the Pope of the Roman Catholic religion resides here. Every year, millions of people flock to Rome to hear the Pope give mass.

Rome is also offers to its visitors many different ancient structures such as the coliseum and monuments as well as palaces and churches from the medieval era. Rome contains some of the world’s most incredible architecture everywhere you look.

Rome also offers some of the finest museums in the world. Filled with ancient and modern art and artifacts, the museums of Rome have the finest displays in the world.

When you think of love and romance, the city of Venice immediately comes to mind. Venice has old world charm in the modern age. It is a place where you can escape and rekindle your love. Many people choose Venice Italy as their perfect honeymoon destination. Because Venice is built on water, it does not have very much room to grow. This is what gives Venice its old world charm; nothing has changed in centuries. It truly seems like you have stepped back in time. Many people who visit Venice cannot leave without having experienced a Gondola ride. These incredible boats float across the water and you truly feel like royalty when you are in them.

Venice is a city that was built on a lagoon. It is as it appears in the movies and on TV. It is a beautiful city built to float on water. There are many different tourist attractions in Venice Italy. However, if you want to see the real Venice, take a walk around until you find the sidewalk café that offer incredible food and wines.

The Tuscany region of Italy is known for its incredibly beautiful countryside, fine wines and exquisite cuisine. Every year, hundreds of thousands of tourists travel the roads of Tuscany to the capital city of Florence. Here tourists are able to view incredible works of art that were created in the renaissance era. Another city in the Tuscany region that tourists flock to is Pisa.
It is in Pisa that the leaning tower stands.

Pisa also offers many different shops and boutiques where tourists can find unusual and unique gifts to bring home. The restaurants in Pisa consist of street vendors, sidewalk cafes and five star restaurants. The cuisine in all of these establishments is incredible. Many people choose to eat the meals on the grassy square and take in all of the impressive architecture.
